What Healthcare Provider CPR Class is accepted in the Medical and Dental Workplaces?

In the Medical field most employers require you to take the American Heart Association provider healthcare provider CPR Course. The Course is called BLS for Healthcare Providers it is a CPR/AED Class that teaches on a more advanced level. Techniques and skills will be used in the Medical & Dental Fields.

Are you a EMT or CNA Student? These programs require you to have a “current” BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR Card before registering in the program. Card is required to present with you application. This is standard for most Medical or Dental Programs such as:
– CNA, LVN, RN Program
– Respiratory Therapist Program
– EMT or Paramedic Program
– Medical Assistant Program
– Dental Programs- RDA/ RDHA
– Phlebotomy Program
– X-Ray Tech Program
and many other medical or dental programs not listed.

Approved American Heart Association cards are valid for 2 years and are issued by a provider of AHA. If you take a class through ASHI, Medic or American Red Cross (Note: These cards will not be accepted by most Medical or Dental Programs or Employers). Be sure to check your provider that is offering the class to ensure card is correct.
